Mercy House Food Pantry
Mercy House Food Pantry has been in operations since 1998. The Food Pantry provides food and clothing relief to the unemployed, underemployed, homeless, elderly, and families in Durham County.
Thrift Store
Open a Thrift Store with gently used clothing, jewelry, furniture, and household items.
Disasters
Serves victims of hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, fire, and other natural disasters.
OUR history
Life Community Services, Inc. (LSC) formerly known as Family to Family, Inc. began operations on September 20, 1996. LCS is a non-profit relief/development organization providing a source of support for communities through planned development inclusive of social, mental and economic needs.
LCS goal is strengthening the family through well-targeted program suited to the expanding and changing needs of the family in our society. It also exemplify the true character of love by assisting with long term community development and providing short-term physical necessities to those who lack the necessary essentials of life.
LCS recognizes that there are those within a community that have not benefited from the development of that community and their diverse cultures. In doing so, the uniqueness of each group will be enhanced and will benefit from society as a whole.
Food pantry
The Food Pantry is located at the Holton Career and Resource Center and is open on the first and third Fridays monthly from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
